Summary

Star realizes she's somehow traveling to the Goblin Dog truck in her sleep, so she asks her trusty squire Marco to watch her overnight so they can figure out what's going on. An unconscious "butterfly Star" ends up dragging him with her as she seeks out more Goblin Dogs to satisfy her cravings, but the princess ends up taking Marco places he never dreamed he would go… Places that will probably haunt his nightmares afterwards, if he survives.

This story is inspired by the episode "Sweet Dreams" and picks up from the beginning of said episode, starting with some canon dialog before diving into the vore. Of course if you ask me the beginning of the episode is borderline vore already.

I don't usually like multiple endings but this story has two: a regurgitation ending and a reformation/revival ending with implied scat. Both are non-fatal.

Star Butterfly opened her eyes as she woke to find herself chewing on one of her pillows. She spit and pushed the saliva covered cushion away, wiping her mouth. Putting her hands to her belly, she thought back to the dream she had just finished. She had been flying through the clouds with hordes of Goblin Dogs, each one begging to be eaten, and she had been more than happy to oblige. She could still feel the warmth in her belly left by the fantasy, as if the cozy mush of Goblin Dogs still rested in her stomach.

“What a satisfying and filling dream,” she mused. A knock drew the princess’ attention to her door.

“Star, are you up? It’s time for breakfast.”

The door cracked open and a familiar arm peeked through holding a similarly familiar box of cereal. Marco paused for a moment, giving Star a chance to tell him if she was indecent before he stepped inside.

“I found Captain Blanche’s Sugar Seeds here on Mewni. They have an importer.”

Star yawned and stretched. “Nah, I’m all good. I just had the most amazing dream: where I was flying, and then there were all these Goblin Dogs that were also flying, and then I ate them.”

She felt a sudden pressure building up from her stomach, forcing its way up her throat. *Burp*. She covered her mouth with one hand, noticing a familiar scent.

“Ew, smells like Goblin Dogs,” she said, waving the smell away.

“Uh, Star, what are all those?” Marco asked, placing the cereal box on her bedside and pointing toward the foot of her bed. It wasn’t until he had pointed them out that Star noticed the abundance of crumpled papers littering her covers. She reached out and picked one up.

“What the…? Goblin Dog wrappers?!” she exclaimed, recognizing the logo on the paper.

“You’ve been sneaking out to the Goblin Dog truck without me?” Marco asked, sounding betrayed.

“No, no, no! I swear, I am not-!”

Another sudden burst of pressure erupted from her belly, cutting her off, but this time it was more than just gas. She felt a strange object force its way up her esophagus and fly from her mouth with a raucous belch. She caught it, shaking off the strange sensation, and looked down to her hand at what had previously been in her stomach. It was a piece of paper, dripping with saliva and other juices, but still clearly showing a familiar hot dog shaped logo.

“A receipt? I did go to that dimension! …In my sleep!?” Star thought back on the “dream” she’d just had; that couldn’t have been real, could it?

“How is that possible?” Marco asked.

“I have… no idea…” she replied.

The following night…

“Okay Marco, you know the plan. You stay up all night and see if whatever happened last night happens again tonight,” Star instructed.

“But then what? Shouldn't we tell somebody about this? I mean- I mean, what if-”

“Marco!?” Star interrupted, “Shall I remind you: you are my squire? So I order you to sit there and watch me sleep.”

Marco decided not to point out how strange of a request it was for a girl to ask a boy to sit and watch her sleep- especially at their age. Instead he just responded with a simple, “Okay.”

“Good. Good night,” Star said, turning out her bedside lamp.

Marco did his best to sit watch at first, but after a while the tranquil darkness of the room started to get to him, and he ended up drifting into sleep not long after his friend. That is, until a strange sound woke him up.

Marco shook himself awake to find the room illuminated by a dim magical glow. The sound that had woken him was a familiar one: that of a dimensional portal opening.

“Star…?” he asked weakly, rubbing the sleep from his eyes. He looked over at his friend’s bed to make sure she was okay, but what he saw made him jump out of his chair. Star was hovering upright over her mattress in full butterfly form, shimmering in the light of a large portal which floated above her.

“Star! What’s going on!?” he asked. The princess only stared into space blankly with a large smile, like she was in a trance. She looked up into the portal and started to rise, and Marco made a dash for the bed.

“Star!” he called again, jumping at her as she disappeared through the gateway. He managed to grab onto her leg, hoping to weigh her down, but instead he was carried into the portal with her.

“Woah! Woah!” Marco started to scream as he was whisked through the air, pulled to and fro by Star’s erratic flight pattern. Though he was trying not to look down, he caught a glimpse of a familiar truck on the ground below, fast approaching. He felt a jerk as Star came to a sudden stop, now hovering in front of the Goblin Dog truck. As he tried his best to contain his motion sickness, he heard a voice.

“Oh no, not again!”

Marco looked in time to see the Goblin Dog vendor abandon his vehicle as it started to magically float up in the air. The princess suddenly shot back into the sky again, taking the truck with her.

“Star!!” Marco wailed again, wrapping himself tightly around her leg. He looked down to see dozens of Goblin Dogs streaming out from the truck, amassing in airborne formation like a large flock, until the empty vehicle started to fall away from them, landing with a distant crash. Star spread her arms as she soared around the clouds, the hot dogs now magically making their way towards her grinning face.

Marco watched as she opened her mouth and took her first bite. A moment later the Goblin Dogs were disappearing down her throat one by one, bite by bite, and she showed no signs of slowing down. He mustered his determination and reached a hand further up her leg, trying to pull himself closer to her face.

“Star! Wake up! You need to stop! Or at least share some with me!” he yelled. The entranced butterfly looked down, seeming to notice him for the first time. She slowed to a hover.

“Oh, that’s so much bet- woah!” Marco screamed as he was magically pried off her leg and brought out to float in front of her. He flailed around in a panic for a moment, finding nothing to hold onto but the empty air, before looking back at his friend. She stared at him intently with that same distant grin… and then she licked her lips.

“Star…?” Marco asked worriedly.

The entranced princess extended one of her six arms toward him, and light blazed over his form as she cast a silent spell. Marco suddenly began feeling strange, and sick in a whole new way. A wave of vertigo overtook him as his vision distorted, and then a moment later it all passed.

“Ugh… Star, what was that- holy dragoncycle!” he yelled as his eyes refocused. Star’s face took up almost his entire view, it was like she had grown giant, or… “I’m tiny!? You shrunk me!? Star, what are you-”

Marco stopped abruptly as Star opened her mouth. His eyes went wide as he watched a thick strand of saliva break between the squishy-wet pink insides that lay beyond the princess’ lips. Her perfectly kept teeth shown white against her sopping tongue, framing the darkness at the back of her throat. And the glinting pools of drool dotting the floor of her mouth showed she was more than hungry. Then his mind started racing as he realized she was floating him closer and closer to her waiting maw.

“Oh, no, no, no! Star! I am not a Goblin Dog! I am not- *mghgmhg*”

His words were muffled as Star’s lips closed around him, her magic releasing him onto her tongue. The eager muscle pulsed under him, pressing him against the roof of her mouth and working its way around his sides. Star sucked on her treat, rolling Marco around in her mouth, ignoring his garbled protests- if she even heard them at all. The magical squirming Goblin Dog tasted different from anything she had ever eaten before, and she was determined to extract every last bit of flavor.

Marco was starting to panic, realizing the trouble he was in. Star didn’t seem to have any control of herself and if things continued the way they were going, he might actually find himself on a one-way trip down to her stomach. The horrifying thought stuck in his mind as he was tossed about. She couldn’t really do that could she? She couldn’t really swallow him…

Star hummed in delight, her lips parting ever so slightly as she savored the experience. The tiny sliver of light that filtered past her teeth dimly illuminated the pink flesh within, and Marco suddenly realized he was face to face with Star’s throat. It was way closer than he had thought, the taught flesh quivering as it vibrated with the princess’ purr. The image stuck with him even as she closed her mouth again, burned into his mind’s eye.

She really could swallow him. Her throat had seemed totally ready to open up, to invite him inside to join the rest of the Goblin Dogs as part of her midnight snack. But this was Star, he reminded himself, sure things could get a little weird, but she would never let things go that far, right? She wouldn’t really do it; she wouldn’t really eat him, right?

Marco heard a loud gulp and screamed in fear, feeling the tongue press his head against the back of her throat. But lucky for him she had only been swallowing the reservoir of saliva that had accumulated around him, before flipping him around and going back to sucking at his body. The tip of her tongue rolled over his face, covering him even further in slick drool.

“Star! Come one, snap out of it!” he managed, but if his friend could hear him at all, she wasn’t listening. Instead he felt her suck even harder, his legs stretching dangerously close towards her throat. The force was strong enough that he felt one of his shoes come lose, and a couple tugs later he felt it slide clean off. He heard another gulp from behind him and his eyes went even wider.

She just swallowed my shoe! Is she really serious!?

He imagined his trusty footwear being squeezed down her tight throat, mindlessly pushed along toward her belly without a second thought. A moment later he heard a faint gurgle, followed by a loud *urp*. Star’s lips parted for another moment to release the gas, giving Marco another fleeting glimpse of his immaculately pink surroundings. The smell of Goblin Dogs overwhelmed him as the foul air passed; the stench of her food stewing in her stomach, no doubt starting to be digested, and now a piece of him was down there too- or at least a piece of his clothing.

Star purred again, apparently very satisfied at the tiny morsel she had swallowed. And that’s when Marco really started to realize: Star wasn’t just idly enjoying herself, she seemed like she really wanted to eat him. It wasn’t just a mindless binge anymore, he could practically feel her desire with every pull, every lick. Whatever was happening to her had overridden any reason she had, leaving her with only instinct and emotion, and if he didn’t do something-

Marco heard Star’s belly rumble, even over the squelching of her mouth. That burp had made a bit of room and reminded her stomach that it was still far from full. He felt Star pause, her tongue seeming surprisingly still compared to the recent onslaught. Then she licked at him one last time.

“Star! No-” *GLUCK*

Marco felt himself squished almost entirely into her throat in one single gulp, sending his legs and body over the edge of her tongue. His arms still hung just outside the passage, just before the point of no return. Marco practically prayed that Star would come to her senses, that she would reach in and grab his flailing hands before he was sucked down into her depths. But instead she just gulped again, sending her special snack on its way.

It was just as he’d feared, he felt himself squeezed down Star’s esophagus, down through her throat and into her chest; passed behind her breasts and down past her beating heart. He was being buried alive, deep inside her body. Reduced to nothing but his friend’s latest craving.

Marco slipped into Star’s stomach with a wet splat, landing in the mush of undigested Goblin Dogs she had just eaten. Of course the only thing still recognizable about them was their smell, it permeated the air, forcing its way into Marco’s lungs as he breathed. He coughed, trying to withstand the stench. But as overwhelming as it was, Marco could still make out Star’s own scent mixed in, the one he recognized from the months of living with her. Somehow, being a magical princess, even her insides seemed to have a naturally sweet smell- sweet right to her core, except apparently when filled with digesting meat.

He was about to try calling out for Star again when he felt something move underneath him. “What the!?” he exclaimed as the surface beneath him rose up, pushing him forward and sending his head straight into a big pile of Goblin Mush. He spat as he tried to right himself, accidentally swallowing a bit of Star’s meal. He felt something long wrap firmly around his torso, squeezing him down into the other contents of Star’s stomach before releasing him again.

“What the heck was that!?” he yelled rhetorically. He felt the mass brush against his arm and his karate reflexes kicked in. He grabbed the form, but then immediately recoiled and let go. It felt long and slimy, like an eel. He reached out his hand, tentatively this time, and found the slick form again, buried in the darkness, pressing a lump of barely chewed mush into the stomach walls. Suddenly he felt another similar form press into him from the opposite side, laying itself across his other arm and forcing it deeply into the folds of Star’s belly. He ran his hand along its length, trying to figure out how long this thing was and where it was coming from, and was shocked when he found it eventually joined with the rest of the princess’ stomach.

“Tentacles!? Star’s stomach has tentacles!?” Marco yelled. A bad idea since that just caused him to inhale more of the pungent air. It must be a part of her Mewman biology. They must be here to help with… digestion, he thought.

Digestion. Star had really done it, she had eaten him, swallowed him whole. His best friend had reduced him to a snack. And now she was going to let her stomach finish the job.

“Star!!” he called out, still not quite believing what was happening. As if in answer, Marco felt a large glob of mush fall onto his head, then another, and another. She’s still eating, he thought, like she doesn’t even remember I’m in here.

“I guess she really means it… I’m her food…” he whispered to himself.

Globs of hastily chewed meat and bread continued to fall on him until he was buried up to his shoulders. Try as he might, he somehow couldn’t manage to find his shoe, even though there wasn’t much space around for the footwear to hide. Had it already been rendered indistinguishable from the rest of her meal? How long would he last?

The tentacles continued to push at him, kneading his clothes and skin, covering them in Star’s Mewman digestive cocktail. For a second Marco even laughed, as he wondered morbidly what color it would be. Knowing Star, he felt that somehow it would have to be every color of the rainbow, spread out in a spectrum, even if that defied all known laws of science. Despite that surprisingly whimsical thought, he did his best to stay out of the tentacles’ way. They didn’t seem to be used to live food, so he found he could usually slip out of their grip pretty easily.

When Star finished her meal, she took to flying around some more. The jagged, erratic nature of her insect-like flight threw him around constantly, but he didn’t really have much room to be thrown and the mush of her food provided an effective cushion. His voice long spent, Marco took to sitting quietly in the cramped space, listening to his friend’s heartbeat and the gurgling of her stomach- possibly the last things he would ever hear.

Suddenly, he felt the world turn sideways and then go strikingly still. He was confused at first, until he realized what must have happened: Just like the night before, Star had gone on her little adventure and then come back home to lie back in her bed, tucking herself back in to sleep off her meal as if nothing had even happened.

Marco signed. “So, I guess this is it… Marco Diaz: princess food… Star’s food…” He lay his head down in the mush of his friend’s meal. “Well, if she’s going to sleep, I guess I might as well too… Goodbye Star…”

[Regurgitation Ending]

“Marco? Maaarcoooo? Marco where are you!?”

Marco opened his eyes weakly, but continued to see nothing but blackness. He felt his world shake rhythmically, like an earthquake to the beat of pounding footsteps. He realized he was floating, mostly submerged in a pool of thick liquid. A few familiar forms still pushed at his body, but he had gotten so used to them now that he almost didn’t notice.

“Maaaarcooooo!!” the voice called again.

“Star…?” he said quietly.

His throat hurt. What had happened to him? Where was he? He slowly started to remember the events of the previous night.

“Star… Star!... STAR!!” he called.

“Marco!? What the- where are you!?” she answered. He felt himself getting swished around as she frantically searched in all directions.

“I’m in here!” he yelled, “In your stomach!”

“In my- *gasp* but how did you get in there?”

“Last night you totally lost it! You turned all butterfly-monster and opened a portal to the Goblin Dog truck- again- and when I tried to stop you, you shrunk me down and ate me!”

Star was speechless for a moment. “Woah…” she said, seeming understandably taken aback.

Then Marco felt something strange, all the tentacles suddenly wrapped up around him, breaking their normal pattern. They surrounded him gently, feeling him up and down.

“Woooaaah,” Star said again. That’s when he realized, Star wasn’t so much focused on processing what had happened, as she was focused on feeling what her stomach was currently processing. She was feeling him all over with those weird stomach tentacles of hers- wait, could she control those things consciously? Was she enjoying this?!

“Star!!” Marco scolded.

“Sorry Marco, you just feel so good in there,” she confessed with her trademark innocence.

“Star! You’re digesting me in here!”

“Right, right, sorry!” she said. “Reluctant friend regurgitation!” she called out, aiming the wand at her belly.

The stomach walls suddenly contracted around Marco as the tentacles guided him towards the opening of the chamber. As he was pushed through, he could feel the walls of her throat rubbing against his skin where her acids had eaten away at his clothes, but thankfully it seemed that a few hours in her stomach hadn’t done any serious damage to his body. A few moments later he found himself back in Star’s mouth, but only for a moment as he was spit out onto her hand.

He shielded his eyes from the light as they adjusted. They were in her room, the morning sun streaming through the windows. She had brought a bowl of cereal up to her bedside, but had apparently been too worried to eat it once she realized Marco was missing, lucky for him. He took a few moments to breathe the fresh air before looking up at Star’s giant face.

“‘Reluctant’? Really Star?”

She blushed a bit, embarrassed that the spell had come out that way. But before she could reply, she felt a tiny bit of pressure building up in her stomach again, forcing its way up her throat. She gave another loud burp, and out of her mouth flew Marco’s missing shoe.

Star covered her mouth with her free hand and giggled. Marco groaned.

[Reformation/Revival Ending]

“Marco… Marco!... Marco please wake up!”

Marco’s eyes shot open and he bolted upright, panting hard. He looked around; he was at home, in his bathroom.

“Marco… are you okay?” called a voice. He looked back over his shoulder and found Star standing over him with a worried expression. But that wasn’t the only thing he noticed.

“Ah! Star, you’re not wearing your pajama bottoms!” He immediately shielded his eyes and looked away, but that’s when he realized he wasn’t wearing any pants either, in fact he wasn’t wearing anything at all!

“Ahhhhh!” he yelled, jumping up and grabbing a towel from the rack, then throwing one to Star. “What the heck happened!? Why am I naked!?”

Star’s face showed a guilty expression and she refused to meet his gaze as she cover herself.

“Well… I kind of… ate you…” she confessed.

Marco looked confused for a second, until he finally started to remember what had happened.

“Oh man, that’s right! You went all butterfly and then you shrunk me down and I was in your stomach and…” he trailed off, losing himself in the memory a bit. “Phew, I thought you were gonna digest me for sure,” he said with a good deal of relief, “I’m really glad you came to your senses in time.”

“Yeah, about that… That’s not exactly how it happened,” Star replied.

“What do you mean?”

“By the time I woke up yesterday morning, you were already… um… you know. So I looked in the book and I found this one spell that said since I was the one that ate you I could use it to bring you back after I…” She trailed off and looked away from him again, blushing slightly.

That’s when Marco noticed a particular smell in the air. He turned his head to the open toilet. it wasn’t empty.

“I was your poop!!” Marco exclaimed as he realized what she meant. She had swallowed him up, digested him, turned him into a log and then shit him out right there in the toilet. If it hadn’t been for her magic wand and that spell she’d found, he’d have been…

They both stood in awkward silence for a long while, the air growing heavy as the facts sunk in, until Star finally spoke.

“Marco… I understand if you don’t want to be my squire anymore…”

He sighed. “No Star, it’s okay. I know you didn’t mean it. You weren’t in control. Just… promise me you’ll ask your mom for some help with that crazy butterfly thing.”

Star nodded, and little tears started to form in her eyes before she rushed over and threw her arms around her best friend.

“I promise! And I’m so sorry! I swear I’ll never let it happen again!”

Marco blushed. “Uh, Star… your towel…”
